Jeremiah Muia
MSc (Geology) · PhD Candidate (Climate Change & Adaptation)
Jeremiah has served for 13 years as a member of the UNFCCC's Carbon Capture & Storage Working Group (CCS-WG) within its Clean Development Mechanism (CDM), where he worked closely with the Methodologies Panel.
He is a Carbon Schemes Developer and a 2018 Climate Fellow of the New York City-based Echoing Green. He has a deep-seated passion for climate change mitigation and adaptation.
He strongly believes in massive deployment of market-driven sustainable mechanisms to scale carbon removal from the atmosphere, as well as reduction of GHG emissions by industrialising nature to roll back the runway of global warming and the climate emergency.
